Guatemala Ministry:
Jen May, daughter of Eric & Sue and alum of our own Sunday School and youth ministries, departed September 20 for Guatemala to teach English to the children of Escuela Vida y Esperanza, a Christian school in Antigua . After graduation from Bates and while teaching Spanish in public high school in Maine , Jen embarked on a short-term mission to Guatemala last summer. She then sensed a call to fulltime service. God confirmed her call by blessing her fundraising efforts and prepared her through training with her sending agency, Mission Impact.

Pray For Jen’s: adjustment to living in a third world culture friends for companionship preparations for teaching as of Jan. 2007 good connections with her students’ families protection and health; family who miss her.
